Sacramento area MLS, MetroList announced the launch of its voice-activated real estate search platform. Developed in partnership with Lundy Inc. and SaleCore, the new platform allows consumers to search with speech. Lundy provides the AI that sits on top of SalesCore (the developers of MetroList.com).

Why this is important

Metrolist.com is one of the most successful MLS consumer facing websites in America. Based in Sacramento, their website sits behind Zillow, Realtor.com, and Trulia in this market. Movoto, Redfin and Homes.com are not reporting to Metrolist today; but it is safe to assume that Metrolist would be 7th in the marketplace based upon trends we see everywhere else. For Metrolist brokers, they produce over 120,000 listing detail views a month. More importantly, in terms of leads to brokers, metrolist generates the most number of leads, followed by Zillow and others. In this market, Realtor.com does not report leads.

Try it! Another cool feature is that agents can use the service when they are driving around to get quick access to listing information, too! These enhancements are likely to drive more consumer traffic and more leads.

The LundyAI Core platform leverages artificial intelligence to listen to the consumer using an advanced large language model (LLM). This AI technology converts what you say into search results. With this, homebuyers are no longer restricted to rigid database categories, as the system can process and understand broader contextual queries. As a result, users can expect more insightful and tailored results, making the home-buying process smoother and more intuitive.

Transforming Real Estate with AI-Powered Search

Dave Howe, CEO of MetroList, emphasized the transformative nature of this innovation. “This isn’t just an enhancement — it’s a transformative leap forward in real estate technology,” he said.

Howe highlighted that the introduction of voice-enabled commands sets a new standard for property searches in the industry. This advancement not only improves convenience but also makes property searches more accessible to a wider range of users, including those who may find traditional online search methods challenging.

One of the platform’s key features is its hands-free functionality, allowing users to conduct searches without typing or navigating through multiple menus. By simply using voice commands, users can quickly access property listings that meet their specific criteria. This functionality caters to various users, from tech-savvy buyers to those who may not be as familiar with digital tools.

Collaborative Efforts Driving Innovation

The partnership between MetroList, Lundy Inc., and SaleCore has been instrumental in bringing this groundbreaking technology to life. Heath Craig, Co-Founder of SaleCore, expressed his enthusiasm, noting that the collaboration with Lundy Inc. has been a natural fit.

“MetroList’s commitment to innovation aligns perfectly with our vision for the future of real estate technology. We’re excited to see the industry embrace this powerful new property-search tool,” Craig said.

Justin Lundy, CEO of Lundy Inc., echoed this sentiment, praising both MetroList and SaleCore for their collaboration throughout the project.

“By integrating our voice technology into their search portal, they are making a significant advancement in the user experience,” Lundy stated.

He also emphasized that the partnership demonstrates a shared vision for providing consumers with a more intuitive, voice-controlled real estate search experience.
