I am humbled to call Kathy Condon one of my favorite MLS colleagues and a friend. A humble customer servant; Kathy goes to the mat for her brokers everyday – driving home technology innovation and business-friendly policies, training and support. She is a joy to work with and has found a winning way for a privately-owned MLS to work productively with NAR policies and programs. So well-deserved! Hats off to you Kathy!

Kathy Condon, President and CEO of MLS PIN Inducted into CMLS Hall of Fame
Las Vegas, Nevada, September 21, 2021 — Kathy Condon, President and CEO of MLS Property Information Network (MLS PIN) was inducted into the Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS) Hall of Fame during the CMLS conference (CMLS2021) on September 21. The honor is a means of recognizing and acknowledging a lifetime of leadership, energy, and intellect that improves and elevates the multiple listing services industry.
“Kathy Condon is an icon in the real estate industry and MLS community, and quite frankly, within CMLS. Her influence will leave a profound effect on CMLS; through her role in forging a relationship with the National Association of REALTORS® and her commitment to MLS excellence through CMLX, Kathy has made a lasting impact on the MLS community. She exemplifies everything the MLS industry believes in – fostering innovation, collaboration and achieving excellence,” said Denee Evans, CEO of CMLS.
Condon began her MLS career 44 years ago in an entry-level position and experienced all the facets of the MLS before becoming Assistant Managing Director of MLS-1 in the Greater Boston area. Today, she serves as president and chief executive officer of MLS PIN and has held this position since its inception in 1999. Under her guidance MLS PIN has grown from 11,000 to more than 45,000 real estate professionals in New England and New York, making it one of the largest MLSs in the country. With her leadership MLS PIN created their own in-house MLS system, making them one of the first MLSs to break away from the traditional vendor provider.
In addition to the impact she has made at MLS PIN, Condon has served on numerous boards in a variety of positions including the executive advisory board for realtor.com, the advisory board for REALTORS Property Resource (RPR), the SUPRA advisory board, and the National Association of REALTORS Executive Institute Advisory Board. She also served on the CMLS board of directors from 2006 to 2017 and was president of CMLS in 2016.
Condon is well recognized for her stellar leadership and innovative vision. She was instrumental in forging CMLS’ relationship with NAR, which continues to benefit the MLS industry through collaboration and a comprehensive understanding of MLS issues and topics.
Condon was a charter member of the inaugural CMLX3 class and to this day encourages her senior leadership team to participate in CMLX. She also helped create CMLX course standards and curriculum to foster professional excellence in the MLS industry.
Kathy has received Banker & Tradesman’s Women of FIRE (Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate) Award, the Boston Globe’s 30 Most Innovative People in Massachusetts Award, the Girl Scouts of America’s Women of Distinction Award, and she was inducted into the MBREA 2019 Appraisal Hall of Fame. For the seventh consecutive year, she has been named to the Swanepoel “200 Most Powerful People in Residential Real Estate.” Most recently, Kathy was a recipient of the 2020 Conway Citizen of the Year Award.
Condon’s induction into the CMLS Hall of Fame was preceded by David Charron in 2020, Cathy Holefelder in 2019, Jack Johnson in 2017, Ann Bailey in 2016, Brian Larson in 2015, Pat Bybee in 2013, Jeannette Biddle in 2012, and Peter Shuttleworth in 2011. The honor recognizes the contributions of the inductee to CMLS and the MLS industry at the close or culmination of the inductee’s career in the MLS industry. Although inductees are recognized at the annual CMLS conference, the award is not necessarily given on an annual basis.
