I love to see it when smart MLSs get together to make it easier for brokers and agents to sell more properties!  The Northeast Florida MLS and Hernando County Association of REALTORS® are the latest to find a way to collaborate to make 20,000 listings available seamlessly now that 5 organizations are contributing data to one data share.

These guys are also doing something else smart!  They created a simple video to describe the relationship in simple terms so REALTORS® can take full advantage of the program.  Check it out by clicking on the image below!

This type of video can be used to invite members for more training to learn how to fully leverage 20,000 listings in their marketing efforts.  Great way to take credit the incredible marketing network that all of the participating MLSs deliver to their members!

Jacksonville and Brooksville FL, [Date]– The Northeast Florida MLS, operating as RealtyWEB.Net and the Hernando County Association of REALTORS have signed a Multiple Listing Service data share agreement.  This agreement will allow listing data to be shared directly between the MLSs, providing real estate professionals of each organization with access to more than 20,000 active listings as well as comparable and historical information. Both entities use flexmls® created by FBS, which will provide for a seamless integration. The arrangement also allows for mutual reciprocity regarding Supra lockbox key access.

“RealtyWEB.Net MLS is excited to partner with the Hernando County Association of REALTORS® and their MLS to share listing data,” said NEFMLS President Kathy Karr-Garcia.  “I see this as a tremendous value to our members and is the fourth in what I hope will be many agreements that allow REALTOR® members in the surrounding areas the ability to serve our consumers, and one another, with a much higher level of professionalism.”

“The business is still local, but the boundaries of ‘local’ are broadening with technology – we are proud that we continue to take steps to stay ahead of the trends in MLS Technology,” added Karr-Garcia.

The data share is a non-threatening solution as the listing data will appear in our respective MLS systems.  While alternate data sharing methods will be used as well, members will be able to view listing and comparable historic data within the applications they use on a daily basis without having to learn a new program.”

Glenn East, CEO of Northeast Florida Association of Realtors® (NEFAR) stated, “This is an awesome opportunity to share access to our Supra lock box service with the members of Hernando County Association of Realtors® at no additional expense to either association’s membership.  In 2015, NEFAR opened its Supra lock box key access to all Florida Realtor® members, at no additional expense, provided they have a current primary Supra key access within their primary Realtor® association. Florida Realtor® members utilizing alternate key box systems may purchase individual access to the NEFAR lock box system.”
