One encouraging finding from the study was the high percentage of overall buyer satisfaction with the value provided by their agent. 88% of respondents thought that their agent earned the commission that they received on the home purchase. This is good news for an industry that has seen many “industry disruptors” enter the marketplace over the last several decades.

While Keller Williams is not the only company focused on training, they do happen to be revered by many, to be the leader in education and training in the real estate industry.
Even after making the conversion from a third party portal to a brokerage website, Zillow continues to innovate on features that the consumer enjoys. In a recent press release, Zillow announced that consumers will be able to remove listings from their search results that they are not interested in.

The Broker Resource Network’s Leadership Roundtable had their summit yesterday to discuss key business themes impacting our industry. The Leadership Roundtable is a volunteer leadership group of the BRN that meets bi-monthly to guide the direction of the BRN in its 'Broker First' mission. They set the tone of advocacy and research which benefits brokers.
Money may or may not buy happiness, but you for sure need it to buy a house. For most people that means getting a mortgage. Thirty-five percent of frustrated homebuyers in the WAV Group Homebuyer Frustration report pointed to the mortgage process being a source of their frustration. One respondent in the study suggested, “There needs to be more workers in the mortgage field to make it run faster.”
The WAV Group’s recent study on homebuyer frustration reveals many pain points that homebuyers have been experiencing in the recent seller’s market. While some of the frustration is unique to the market conditions of 2020 and 202, like multiple bid situations, there are still many insights that can help agents prepare their clients for the process regardless of market conditions.
There is a strange and incongruent set of policies, rules, and customs in real estate that apply to the display of broker attribution on listings. State laws regulate broker attribution on signs and in advertising. In most markets today, client servicing tools used by agents to work with homebuyers are afforded the opportunity through rules and policies to deprecate (remove) the broker attribution entirely.
A number of companies are supporting brokers with concierge solutions that solve this problem - and, it's a big problem. Up to 45 Million consumers move a year, and the real estate industry is the tip of the spear that can connect their customers with service providers. From a distribution perspective, MooveGuru is gaining a ton of traction with more than 316,000 agents across over 2,000 brokerages accessing the platform and inviting their customers.
Imagine the experience for the consumer; you buy or sell a home, and you get bombarded every month with pieces of information from each of these broker and agent application. Be careful whenever you reach out to a client - you DO NOT want your efforts to stay connected to result in a negative experience and ultimately being spam blocked.
